Key Role:

Provide SharePoint support to the firm's internal social networking and collaboration platform. Work with a highly-motivated team of self-starters from a variety of backgrounds to create creative solutions to improve business functions within the firm. Provide SharePoint development support by developing requirements and specifications, designing logic, writing code, customizing products, testing and debugging, and documenting software for Microsoft Office SharePoint Server (MOSS) implementations. Interface with stakeholders and end users to clarify goals and requirements and design architectures that balance business and technical objectives. Produce design documentation, installation guides, and operational documentation consistent with the firm's software development life cycle methodology. Work in all phases of the software development life cycle, designing, developing, and extending SharePoint and .NET applications.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

-3+ years of experience with .NET and SharePoint 2007 development
-2+ years of experience with SharePoint Designer, InfoPath, and Visual Studio
-Experience with SharePoint Portal Server and Windows SharePoint Services implementation and deployment, including the creation of custom Web parts
-Experience with Web development, including HTML, JQuery, and CSS
-Experience with developing SharePoint content types, features, and solution packages, including best practices for version control, packaging, and continuous integration
-Ability to obtain a security clearance

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with MOSS 2007, Windows Workflow Foundation, WSS API, and Business Data Catalog (BDC) using SharePoint Designer and Visual Studio
-Experience with working in agile development projects a plus
-Experience with Oracle a plus
-Experience with SOAP, XML, IIS, Active Directory, and SQL
-Experience with deploying, securing, and customizing SharePoint site collections
-Experience with Microsoft SharePoint Security model, events, alerts, and workflows
-Experience with MOSS farm topology and SharePoint shared service providers
-Experience with content migration strategies for importing Legacy data into SharePoint
-Experience with My Sites and Profile Service data
-BA or BS degree
