SAP Maintenance Planner

Yoh has a contract opportunity for an SAP Maintenance Specialist to join our large global scientific client located in Memphis, TN.

Job Overview:

- The SAP Maintenance Specialist's main role is to lead SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) programs and initiatives for its Memphis manufacturing facility.
- This Maintenance Specialist role will support the site by using SAP plant maintenance module to manage maintenance and reliability of process equipment.
- The incumbent will draw upon past experiences in maintenance and in the area to make appropriate business based decisions.

Job Responsibilities:

- The Maintenance Specialist role will be positioned as a "Key User" for the maintenance PM module and will also be responsible for targeted site PM objectives that include planned maintenance and MRO activities.
- This Maintenance Specialist role will support the site by using SAP plant maintenance module to manage maintenance and reliability of process equipment.
- Conduct end user SAP, PM module training.
- Assist with plant maintenance data. This could include data collection, setup & cleanup efforts. Participate in data conversion validation.
- Serve as the first line of support for plant maintenance end users, doing troubleshooting as necessary.
- Provide communications and change management training to end users as necessary.
- Identify need for and participate in root cause analysis of SAP business incidents.
- Actively participate in change to business processes (could include documentation of new operating procedures, assignment of security work roles, and training of end users).
- Ensure SAP outage procedures are documented, maintained and followed.
- Participate in workshops and presentations to validate/improve the system design.
- Provide input for development of site organizational change management requirements.
- Audit process metrics and use other reporting tools to identify issues and improvement opportunities.

Job Qualifications:

- SAP (PM) Experience
- Experience as Industrial Maintenance Crew Supervisor
- Experience as Industrial Maintenance Planner/Scheduler/Coordinator
- Strong industrial mechanical equipment knowledge (rotating and fixed equipment).
- Key Users will work with Maintenance & Reliability and other SAP support member(s) (eg, data coordinators and site integrators) to provide support for the business' SAP PM needs.
- Key Users are an integral part of the run maintain support structure for SAP and will be involved in efforts to ensure maintenance and equipment data is maintained.
- Key Users will take SAP guidance from Maintenance & Reliability and their Site Integrator.
- Most Key users have other responsibilities; however, there will be at least one critical operating responsibility for the Key User that is related to this role.
- This applies to SAP R/3, and bolt-on systems as appropriate Plant Management Module (PM)
