Desktop Support Analyst

Cutting Edge Recruiting Solutions (CERS) is currently recruiting for a Desktop Support Analyst for our client in Miami, FL. The Desktop Support Analyst be responsible for providing first level support via telephone, desk-side support, and all activities associated with the identification prioritization, and resolution of reported Desktop/Laptop and application problems. Ensures that all requests for support are coordinated, monitored, logged, and resolved appropriately. Must support Microsoft Windows XP, Windows 7, Windows 8 Microsoft Office 2007, Microsoft Office 2010, printing issues, hardware/software issues, etc.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for first level desktop/laptops, applications and printer support calls and diagnosing problems through discussions with users.

• Manage Service Desk tickets created and assigned within the Desktop Support Group.
• Support Network, PC, printing, and hardware/software functionality in accordance with Service Level Agreements.
• Support File and Print Server services including hardware/software as required.
• Maintain knowledge and proficiency of current and upcoming hardware/software technologies.

Required Experience:

• An associate's degree, or technical equivalent including A+, MCP, or similar industry certification.
• Requires 1-2 years of technical experience.
• Firm working knowledge of Network/PC technologies including Windows XP, Windows 7, Office 2007, TCP/IP, and Network/PC hardware components.
• Installation & troubleshooting of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office applications.
• Support of Network, Desktop, and file permissions.
• Support of local and network printers.
• Administration of users profiles in Windows environment.
• Experience in a high growth, fast-paced and large transaction volume environment within a major corporate setting.
