Primary Responsibilities
As member of a worldwide ERP functional support team, this position provides end user second level support in some specific functional areas and provides leadership to the regional support organization in its functional areas.

Specific responsibilities
- Provide in depth second level user support (functional), liaising with Oracle Support as required for problem resolution;
- Provide leadership to the assigned region for the functional areas;
- Regression Testing and acceptance of new releases and customization related to areas of functional expertise;
- Define best practices and optimize the usage of Oracle e-Business suite modules in its region;
- Validate the setup prepared by the implementation teams in coordination with other support team members;
- Perform some setup to prepare testing;
- Support superuser in defining their requirements for new service requests;
- Ensure that change management process are followed in its region.
In addition this role will liaise with local implementation project teams to ensure compliance of new extensions to ERP within the region are compliant with existing and Core solutions.
- Within the Worldwide support group, jointly to manage all calls and support requests to deliver the expected service;
- With ERP superuser community to ensure proper usage of the application;
- With Business manager to review usage and optimization of the application;
- With Oracle support to follow-up Oracle application issues;
- With ERP deployment team for additional applications/modules deployments;
- With ERP core team to review/suggest evolution;
- With ERP development team to request and test new functionality/set-up.
Profile
- Minimum 4 years experience in implementing/supporting Oracle eBusiness suite modules:
- In depth knowledge of Oracle eBusiness Suite version R12 functionality within specific area which fit with SGS business.
- Oracle Financial Modules (AP/AR/GL/CM) coupled with good understanding of accounting principles;
- Knowledge of Latin American localizations;
- Knowledge on additional modules is a plus (procurement, OM, CRM,..)
- Practical experience in Finance department;
- Additional modules experience (Finances modules, iExpense, Procurement,..) would be a plus;
- International experience and practical experience in finance department would be a plus.
