The Employee will be part of the GECA Business Intelligence - Operations team, supporting new enhancements, data enquiry and incidents. Success candidate will possess excellent data discovery, troubleshooting and analytical skills. In this role, you must have the ability to support cross functional teams in a fast paced environment.
Essential Responsibilities:
Develops expertise in the enterprise data model and provides support for data discrepancies, minor enhancements, testing and deployments Provides day-to-day support around data discrepancies, data inquiries and data validations in Production Defines detailed functional and technical specifications required to satisfy business requirements for small projects and minor enhancements Maintains a continuous feedback loop with the Data Management team around changes in functional specifications and technical design Identifies the impact on existing data model or ETL code, that is triggered by a change in requirements Tracks and documents all reported problems and data anomalies Completes tasks and work assignments in a timely fashion Qualifications/Requirements: Basic Requirements: Bachelor's Degree WITH minimum 5 years of experience within IT Minimum 3 years of experience in a Data Warehousing environment Minimum 2 years of experience as a Data Analyst/Data Architect Minimum 2 years of experience with data modelling using Erwin or ER Studio Minimum 2 years of experience with writing complex SQL queries Eligibility Requirements:
