The IM Project Manager - Hyperion Application Support demonstrates leadership in communicating business goals, programs, and processes for an area or business segment. In this role you will utilize your experience or expertise to solve problems, develop and execute objectives for self and others, and have the ability to effect short-term and some long-term business goals. This role will support existing Oracle Hyperion applications and infrastructure as well as assist with enhancements. Essential Responsibilities:
Lead and conduct application and operational support for Oracle EPM/Hyperion installed applications
Lead and support SOX and security compliance and audits
Manage over and execute application and infrastructure change management requirements and necessary processes
Leverage existing solution features and global design to drive standardization & simplification to reduce manual processes, cycle times, and implementation timelines & costs
Work with IT team and business partner to understand required application changes and establish appropriate test cases, QA processes, migration to and validation of production environment
Assist in supporting the GE Infrastructure and enhancement request process
Support and communicate standards, policies, & compliance requirements
Identify critical path decisions, make recommendations, and influence program leaders and business process owners to maximize applications and payback
Work as a business partner with client leaders and users to evaluate/improve business processes and arrive at mutual, cost effective solutions for business processes
Participate in the preparation of long-range systems plans and assure that they are in concert with business objectives and goals
Conduct development, maintenance, code and quality reviews when required Qualifications/Requirements: Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Information Technology (IT), Computer Science or Engineering (or a high school diploma/GED with Minimum 4 years of experience in the application of information technologies to business solutions)
Minimum 2 years of working knowledge on Unix and Windows operating systems
Minimum 2 years of experience with Oracle Hyperion technologies including Hyperion Essbase, Planning, DRM and Financial Reporting software products and their influence on Finance business function Additional Eligibility Qualifications: GE will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in the United States for this opening.
