Serves as solution delivery expert for the design and implementation of Center of Excellence specialty area. Accountable for operational excellence including project reviews, feasibility, cost benefit analysis, prioritization, initiation, execution and closure of project work. Manages activities of project team resources to support and deliver solutions relating to operational stability program(s). Coordinates program support activities. Essential Responsibilities: As part of our Global ServiceNow COE group, this role serves as solution delivery expert for the design and implementation of Center of Excellence specialty area. Drives and is accountable for operational excellence of assigned program(s) with duties including project reviews, feasibility, cost benefit analysis, prioritization, initiation, execution and closure for all project work related to the program. Manages budgets and contracts associated with program(s) or initiative(s). Manages activities of project team resources to support and deliver solutions relating to the program(s). Maintains effective working relationships with peers and vendors to seamlessly integrate the program area into the overall strategic objectives and activities of the organization. Coordinates program support activities, including the development of internal and external communications, establishing roadmaps and benchmarks and developing training plans. Core Functions also include:

  • Establish, participate & grow GE COE ServiceNow application council
  • Establish & maintain core ITSM processes across COE application teams
  • Establish & maintain a prioritized roadmap for application functions leveraging COE ServiceNow or other Enterprise Systems platforms
  • Lead projects and be COE Services team interface to Enterprise Systems organization
  • Interface with Enterprise Systems development teams for project execution
  • Interface with Enterprise Systems architecture & initiatives team for future projects
  • Manage operational delivery of all applications supporting COE teams including problem management, release management & change management Qualifications/Requirements: Basic Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree with a minimum 2 years of hands-on, mixed experience in technology and architecture OR minimum 6 years of IT project/program management experience
  • Minimum 3 years of Professional IT experience
  • Minimum 1 year of Java Development experience
  • Minimum 1 year of ITIL development/coding experience
  • Minimum 1 year of experience at leading cross-functional teams to develop and deliver on a common vision

  • Ability to effectively perform cost benefit analysis, determine TCO, prepare and manage projects to budget
  • IMLP Graduate
  • Base ITIL understanding and 1 year experience in ITIL practices
  • Green Belt and/or Black Belt Six Sigma trained
  • Application design & development experience
  • MySQL/Oracle Databases
  • Web development languages eg PHP/JSP/HTML
  • UI Design experience
  • Experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience with managing impact of compliance regulations to application design
  • Strong track record of understanding and interest in current and emerging technologies demonstrated through training, job experience and/or industry activities.
  • Strong team player - collaborates well with others to solve problems and actively incorporates input from various sources
