As a member of the global GE Capital WCS - RTS organization, you will be primarily responsible for providing support to GE Accounts Receivable application and work on the break fixes, enhancements and review open tickets on a daily basis and resolve them as per SLAs corresponding to monetization, factoring, reporting modules. Essential Responsibilities: GE Working Capital Solutions has built a patented Accounts Receivable system (GECARS). GECARS consolidates accounts receivable transactions for General Electric Company in a single A/R system. At present GECARS is integrated over 300 clients, holds over $
7.9 billion of AR assets, used by 3500+ users globally, and processes 300,000+ transactions monthly.
As GECARS Support Analyst you will:
Have in-depth knowledge of monetization (GEAR) and factoring and maintain the source code and necessary documentation for the current system and ongoing enhancements
Build functional knowledge of GECARS Online application, related interfaces and work on GEAR related incidents/service requests to meet business SLAs
Work on break fixes and enhancements in monetization and factoring
Build functional knowledge of all the reports generated from GECARS system for GEAR use and make changes to the reports on need basis
Look for process improvement opportunities to reduce the open tickets volume
Provide ongoing post deployment support
Ensure standard release changes are communicated to and absorbed by the business users Qualifications/Requirements: Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Software Engineering or Computer Science or Accounting
Minimum 1 year of experience in support role
Minimum 2 years of experience in Oracle and PL/SQL
Minimum 2 years of experience with .NET Additional Eligibility Qualifications: GE will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in the United States for this opening.
