UAT Analyst

Job Summary:

UAT Analyst is responsible for the facilitation of the user acceptance testing process for multiple product lines of a multi-million dollar business serving the Intellectual Property community. Ideal candidate will have direct experience using and evaluating software tools in support of international Intellectual Property business processes.

The UAT Analyst reports to the UAT Manager, and works very closely with Product Managers, Technology development staff, project managers, and business representatives.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Execute defined User Acceptance Test Plans to validate that new software releases suit the real-world needs of global IP professionals
- Manage the creation of User Acceptance Test Scenarios that accurately reflect and evaluate the usability of new functionality in business processes
- Effectively manages project team conflicts, builds collaborative partnerships with stakeholders, and obtains commitment to make decisions
- Work with colleagues around the world to ensure that user flow and acceptance testing reflects the diverse requirements of international user populations
- Report and escalate usability issues through an issue tracking system
- Serve as an internal Subject Matter Expert on end-user workflow and system usability

Qualifications
- BA/BS degree preferred or equivalent in education and experience
- Testing certification is desirable
- Minimum 3 years of direct experience in Intellectual Property management processes, preferably two or more years with: invention disclosure management, patent and trademark prosecution, docketing, maintenance, commercialization, licensing, rights assertion
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, communicate progress and complete assignments on time
- Ability to flourish in a challenging environment and work as part of a cross-functional international team
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively build relationships across functions and work interdependently
- Ability to work under stressful, time-sensitive deadlines
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Experience supporting the implementation of new Innovation system is highly desirable
- Experience with structured software testing methods is desirable
