Data Analyst

Our client is a leading industrial automation company seeking a Data Analyst to collect and analyze data to support Purchasing Master Data Quality.

Job scope includes the following:

• Organizes information into useable, actionable reports for use by Source to Pay organization.
• Interfaces with several business, operations and engineering services to insure coordination of data across functional lines.
• Works with a large amount of data that must be organized in an understandable format.
• Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
• Receives assignments in the form of objectives, inputs and output.
• Determines the process by which to meet project goals.
• Frequently interacts with peers and customers to gain cooperation of others or conduct presentations of technical information/project activities.
• Networks with senior internal/external personnel in own area of expertise.
• Resolves wide range of issues in creative ways and effective ways.

Qualifications include the following:

• 2 years of experience with SAP in product data management roles, including bills of material, material masters, drawings, lists, PIRs, Source Lists, Vendor Master etc.
• Experience in the maintenance and manipulation of document information records in SAP
• High level of competency in Microsoft Access and Microsoft Office suite
• Ability to create and maintain informational databases and reports using these tools
• Experience in bill of materials and product structure
• 2 year degree in data management or production operations systems preferred

This contract position is expected to be 12 months in duration.
