Overview: Responsible for the development, implementation, and support of the company's marketing activities. May identify, evaluate, and recommend marketing opportunities consistent with product and service objectives; provide pre and post-sale marketing support; and support public relations through research, writing, or editing press releases.
Responsibilities may also include coordinating trade show activities, developing and/or supporting web sites, tracking and evaluating marketing campaigns, and recommending future marketing promotions.
Responsibilities: - Planning, organizing, promoting, facilitating and coordinating IT event/program
- Monitoring and coordinating the timeline of an event;
- Supervising and coordinating the activities of the training, catering, and facilities personnel
- Providing guidance and information pertaining to the event to the other businesses;
- Preparing the event budget in partnership with Sourcing
- Ensuring that quality client/customer standards are upheld at all times;
- Ensuring the event venue is ready on time;
- Scheduling events and coordinating meetings;
- Creating and revising plans and layouts for different events;
- Ensuring the event location fulfills all building, health and safety requirements
- Develops and maintains key project documents such as the project strategy document, project plan, action item trackers, monthly reports, etc.
- Drives project deliverables by monitoring performance according to plan and identifying potential issues and resource gaps as well as proposing mitigation strategies;
- Develops and monitors project budget(s) and ensures that monthly spend matches the projected spend;
- Ensures that project team meetings have the organizational structure to work effectively including content, facilitation and recording;
- Ensures that all relevant project documents are archived in the currently employed archiving system.
Qualifications: Bachelors in Marketing
Event planning experience
Excellent customer service skills and experience
