Located in the Milwaukee metro area, we are a leader in developing and designing computers, displays, and electronic systems that improve today's aircraft and design the aircraft of the future! We are looking for exceptional Software Engineers who will be part of a creative group of engineers who work on the cutting-edge of technology.
What you need for this position:
- BSCS/EE/SE or MSCS/EE or other relevant 4 year degree required
- Experience in software development and/or verification required, 3 †5 years preferred
- Experience with C or C++ programming language required
- Experienced developing and verification of applications/middleware for a Linux platform
- Experience with BASH Shell programming, Python, JAVA, GTK
- Experience developing software for critical applications for one of the following industries: aviation, medical, telecom, military
Pluses:
- Experience with PKI, ARINC 665
- Experience with Avionic Data Loaders
- Experience with RTCA DO-178B process
- Experience with Built in Test, fault reporting, test management
What you will be doing:
- Incorporate new development on flight critical systems for the commercial and defense markets
- You will be exposed to the entire software development lifecycle
- Create and execute test procedures and test applications/scripts to ensure compliance of the software code with the high and low level requirements
- Integrate the software source code for a functional area with both the software source code from other functional areas and the target hardware to develop the integrated airborne system
- Perform reviews and analyses to assess the accuracy, completeness, and verifiability of the software requirements, architecture, and source code
