Position is located in the Twin Cities, MN area; candidate must be willing to relocate. Relocation assistance is available for eligible candidates.

The Target Technology Services (TTS) team designs and creates innovative solutions for a variety of applications, platforms and environments. TTS not only gives Target a competitive advantage in the marketplace, but also enhances the guest experience through the smart use of technology in the retail industry.

Join the Enterprise Architecture team as they drive multichannel solutions that have a broad impact across Target. Be a part of developing and launching new multichannel services that power all the channels where Target does business (in-store, web, tablet, mobile, and future channels).

About This Opportunity

Use your skills, experience and talents to be a part of groundbreaking thinking and visionary goals. As a Technical Architect, you'll take the lead as you

- Leverage deep understanding of E-commerce ecosystems and/or specific knowledge of the following technologies - IBM WebSphere Commerce, HTML5, JavaScript, and CSS3, multichannel product catalogs, content management, mobile application platforms, deploying enterprise scale web services
- Leveraging mobile development platforms (iOS, Android)
- Ensure Target's multichannel solutions are always fast, available, scalable and architected to growing business needs
- Drives the creation of new technology standards and best practices as technology evolves
- Lead IT and business leadership team in actualizing the technology plans within their area of responsibility
- Responsible for conception of solutions, building consensus and the selling of such solutions to senior level leadership
- Assess new technology to determine its viability and applicability within Target's technical environment

Requirements

- BA/BS or equivalent experience
- 8-10 years total work experience
- Ability to explain technical solutions to multiple technical teams, non-technical teams, and senior management
