3M is seeking a Supply Chain Analyst for the 3M Business Transformation organization.

Job Summary:

The Supply Chain Business Analyst will have primary responsibility in leading, managing, and coordinating all project activities related to the Global Supply Planning process within the Business Transformation project.

Roles and Responsibilities:

The Supply Chain Business Analyst designs, creates, modifies and supports supply planning business processes as well as measures business process adoption and effectiveness. This role is responsible for leading the effort to understand the business needs and identify how best to meet those needs. This includes working with the various businesses and the technology areas to define a business case, gather requirements for process definition and IT systems development, and recommend a solution that supports the business request or opportunity.

This role leads the effort to analyze, validate and document the business and system requirements. This role requires a solid understanding of the business direction, an overall view of the big picture and good knowledge of the business being impacted by the project's implementation. This includes appropriate communication, creation and maintenance of business process training and coordination of an efficient and effective business processes for the global Supply Chain community.

This position will transition into a Supply Chain Business Analyst provides SAP Level 2 functional support for resolution of business incidents, how to questions and requests. This includes resolving incidents and fulfilling requests within defined Service Levels and ensures proper documentation, notification, escalation, tracking and follow up of all inquiries.

Major responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Provide Business Analyst Support for SAP Supply Planning processes
- Lead requirements definition, process design, documentation, testing, training, communication and implementation activities
- Establish and maintain business process monitoring, analyze results and make recommendations for improvement
- Review documented business processes and lead efforts to implement new processes or modify existing processes when needed
- Oversee Super User productivity and identify opportunities to improve processes and procedures to optimize these resources
- Understand integrations between SAP APO and Legacy planning system to maintain current planning efficiency during SAP implementation.

Location: The person hired for the position of Supply Chain Analyst will be located in Maplewood, MN. Relocation assistance is not available for this position. Travel is anticipated to be 10%.

Qualifications

Basic/Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited Ueniversity
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in inventory management, logistics and/or supply and demand planning

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with SAP Advanced Planning (APO)
- Experience with statistical analysis
- APICS (American Production and Inventory Control Society) certification
- Experience with project management and/or project leadership
- Strong knowledge of SAP Demand, Supply and Manufacturing Planning systems & processes
