Job Description
The Identity Management team within Mayo Clinic Global Business Solutions is seeking a skilled and motivated individual looking for a six month IT Internship experience. The internship will allow you to work side-by-side with senior development staff supporting a web based identity authentication service used for accessing Mayo web applications. Tasks will include assisting team members with development of new .NET functionality, configuring new clients into the service, and troubleshooting existing functionality.

The intern will receive direction from work unit leadership. The individual must be self-motivated, show strong initiative to complete assigned tasks in a timely manner, and have an interest in furthering their software development skills in a professional IT environment. It is desired for the internship to be six months in duration. (005149-47535)

Basic Qualifications:
Must be working towards a Graduate degree in a Computer Engineering/Information Technology field and looking to gain practical work experience. Must be willing to relocate as necessary to Rochester, MN. The student must possess knowledge of object-oriented programming and design, test, and debug methodologies.

Other Qualifications:
Preferred candidates will have familiarity with Object Orientated programming principals, as well as experience with HTML and preferably C# and .NET. Must possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong oral/written communication and interpersonal skills are required. Must be able to work in a team environment, and be highly self-motivated to achieve.

Schedule Details: Monday - Friday

Compensation Detail: IS Interns receive $20/hr
