The Salesforce.com CRM Architect is responsible for business solutions architecture, strategy and solutions that support the Salesforce.com CRM platform for Ecolab. This includes SalesForce.com, mobile (custom and purchased solutions), AppExchange solutions and other integrated sales and service solutions. This position partners with business divisions, functions, IT and third parties to select or design and develop solutions which will be leveraged across the organization and integrated with other corporate divisions globally to enable business increased capabilities and value.
Main Responsibilities:

Work closely with the business to determine capability needs and architect solutions to meet client needs.
Ownership of the solution from end to end.
Responsible for architecting and documenting a business technology solution based on project requirements and industry best practices.
Lead and mentor the solution delivery teams on the project, which will be comprised of internal and multiple external partners.
Define, document and enforce sound platform development and governance practices and ensure the quality delivery of enterprise solutions.
Assist in supporting the platform by being available as required.
Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Business.
• 10+ years experience in architecting and/or developing technology solutions inclusive of SaaS, COTS and internally developed components.
• 5+ years experience in architecting Salesforce.com solutions
• 3+ years experience in leading complex projects in positions of increasing responsibility in the delivery of business consulting and systems development.
• 3+ years experience with data integration in large complex global systems.
• 3+ years experience in designing, optimizing and integrating business processes across disparate systems.
• 3+ years experience leading teams and coaching team members.
• 3+ years experience in OOP, design patterns, and the complexities of enterprise applications.
• 3+ years experience in large, complex SalesForce.com implementations.
• 3+ years experience in all four of the following skill sets: Apex programming, Visual force, Trading Dynamic Dashboards and Triggers.
• Salesforce.com Certified Cloud Consultant
• Salesforce.com Certified Force.com Developer (DEV401) and Advanced Developer (Dev 501).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with a professional consulting organization.
• Excellent business facing skills with the ability to solve multiple clients' needs and manage scope in a positive way.
• Ability to organize and lead client sessions that result in clear requirements and technical design, even when working with non-technical members of client teams.
• Excellent analysis skills and the ability to develop processes and methodologies.
• Detail-oriented individual with the ability to rapidly learn and take advantage of new concepts, business models and technologies
• Experience with ETL tools and the concepts of successful data quality and movement.
• Experience with ANT and Eclipse tools for working with the IDE.
• Experience with mobile solutions.
• Knowledge of XML, SQL, HTTP/HTTPS, and EAI processes.
• Knowledge of SSO and security protocols required for cloud solutions.
• Knowledge of data management, including data capture, warehousing, segmentation, mining, storing, cleaning and security.
