Role Purpose/Accountabilities:
Role purpose:

- Implement Solutions data management objectives and initiatives to facilitate business decisions and to transform data and information into knowledge for crop units and customer unit campaigns
- Deliver key business imperatives through data analysis, summarization, and interpretation especially for multi-location or multi-year analyses
- Ensure data integrity and proper use of statistical analysis and experimental design tools to answer key objectives within Solutions Development team
- Support data generation, analysis and summarization through management of third party or internal interfaces where appropriate
- Develop information from data that characterizes the technical attributes and proof points of our product portfolio in crop protection, genetics, traits and integrated solutions to support crop campaign message and plan
- Support development, execution and analysis of Syngenta field evaluation trials (FET)

Accountabilities:
Commercial Unit Business Accountabilities:

- Responsible for data analysis and summarization of solutions development projects within and across crop units
- Develop and manage processes and tools to support Solutions Development activities associated with turning data into knowledge for use by the sales teams

Overarching accountabilities:

- Work with Solutions team to design, analyze and interpret information to support solutions development for all crop units
- Works with Solutions Development team and Crop Units to develop key technical, business information for positioning, pricing, etc. to support customer unit sales campaigns

Transition accountabilities:

- Develop network of key stakeholders and map key business needs and expectations
- Develop ways-of-working with new organization through an understanding of key cross functional interdependencies
- Ensure current business requirements are met in the new organization as we transition to long-term deliverables

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

Critical knowledge: :

- MS or Ph.D. degree in an Agronomy, Weed Science, Entomology, Plant Pathology or other agricultural related science with experience
- Understanding the business end-use of knowledge generated and tailoring data objectives to meet business needs
- Experience/education in experimental design, statistical analysis and data interpretation

Critical experience:

- Experience in agricultural or biological research, data capture and analysis, project summarization and interpretation.
- Experience in turning data and information into knowledge

Critical technical, professional and personal capabilities:

- Excellent teamwork and communication skills needed.
- Ability to challenge the status quo and work with North American colleagues to develop and implement strategic initiatives for the Solutions Development organization
