Applications Developer II

Two (2) years experience in two (2) or more of the preferred software development tools listed below:

Visual Basic.Net, web development in a Microsoft environment, Oracle and MS SQL programming, and Object Oriented design using Unified Modeling Language (UML)

Job Responsibilities:
- Consults with customers to define their business requirements of program areas, utilizing programming expertise and departmental resources to provide solutions to customers' needs
- Design, program, test and implement effective systems
- Analyzes existing information systems/customer practices to identify current and future system requirements.
- Responsible for assuring that system programming and processing documentation is in accordance with departmental specifications.
- May write end user manuals or online help documentation.
Responsible for developing plans for testing and execution of those plans.
- Testing to be performed on sub-components and/or entire systems.

Prefer knowledge of Agile software development methodologies and lean manufacturing.

Education:: Degree in Computer Science or Equivalent experience.
