We manufacture and design technology servicing the telecom and wireless markets worldwide. We are stable, profitable and growing. As such, we have an immediate opportunity for an Embedded Software Engineer at our Parsippany, NJ location.
What you need for this position:
- BSEE or equivalent and at least two years of experience
- Embedded programming in C or C++
- Data communication hardware and protocol stacks (PCI, PCI-X, USB, TCP/IP)
- Proficient in TCP networking and writing software for the SNMP API and protocol
- In particular SNMP V3
Moderate proficiency is also required in the following areas:
- High-level, object-oriented programming
- Familiarity with IDE*s such as Visual Studio, Code Composer Studio or Code Warrior
Skills desired, but not necessary:
- Application and driver development for Windows platforms
- Virtual instrumentation drivers
Familiarity with data acquisition methods, and knowledge of hardware interface methods and coding is desired.
Knowledge and experience with Analog and Digital design, and Wireless is a big plus!
What you'll be doing:
- Responsible for the development of data acquisition and control software
- Apply your skills in software development for applications
- Customer application and factory test software for new and existing products
- Interact with members of R&D, Product Marketing, Applications and Manufacturing
