Job Overview:

You will be primarily responsible for water treatment installation process to ensure we meet the goals of agreed upon contract. Will work closely with sales to ensure they understand the interfaces and to ensure installations are possible. Provide continuous information flow from the facility to the customer and Nalco. Ensure start-up services arrive and continuous operation for the customer. Will work with manufacturing facilities to coordinate schedules and then coordinate the handoff to Nalco's Service group to perform installation.

Main Responsibilities:

- Provides responsive, systems engineering and technical sales support
- Manages project execution tasks from fabrication thru start-up/commissioning activities
- Develops project proposals and cost estimates with minimal supervision
- Manages 3rd party suppliers, engineers, and contractors as required
- Develops Project Management and/or submittal documentation as required
- Provides post sale troubleshooting and support for custom equipment projects
- Manages projects of medium to high complexity, value, and risk with no supervision.
- Uses standard Project Management tools to manage projects "On-Time" & "On-Budget"
- Provides training and mentoring for newer, less experienced engineers

Territory/Location Information: This position is based in Naperville, IL. Ideally, we would like local candidates; however, we're open if you reside in the Midwest close to a major airport.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

- Bachelor's Degree
- 5+ years of experience in direct water treatment installations
- 5+ industrial project management experience
- No immigration sponsorship offered for this role

Preferred Qualifications:

- Bachelor of Science in any Engineering discipline
- Prior experience working in industrial environments
- Familiar with automation & PLC's
- Experience with water treatment equipment (ie: Pumps, tanks, instrumentation, controllers, etc.)
- Prior Project Management experience to include interfacing with suppliers, engineering companies, contractors, etc.
- Practical working knowledge of laptop computers, Microsoft Office software, e-mail, web browsers
- Able to read and interpret P&IDs, electrical schematics, mechanical piping drawings, G/A's, etc.
- Has experience with Hazop and/or MOC analyses
- Committed to working safely and minimizing workplace hazards and engaged in personal safety.
- Ability to communicate and interface with people
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills;
- Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
