Jr. Oracle DBA

Our client is looking for a DBA to install and upgrade Oracle databases across a range of application environments. This Oracle DBA will also be responsible for monitoring and identifying any performance/reliability problems with the Oracle environment, running disaster recovery plans and collaborating with other groups to put together UNIX settings in line with Oracle guidelines. A qualified candidate will need to be able to manage Oracle database systems by designing and developing Shell Scripts.

Our client is only looking for candidates that have in between 3-5 years of Oracle DBA experience. Any candidate with greater than 5 years will not be considered! REQUIREMENTS:  

• Bachelor's Degree
• 3-5 years of Oracle and UNIX database administration experience and at least 1 year of SQL Server experience
• Demonstrated analytical and project management skills
• Highly skilled with PC skills - presentation software, Microsoft project, processing, etc.
• Knowledge and experience with Shell Scripting and disaster recovery
