Sr. Database Engineer Makes a Difference by:

Being responsible for the design of new databases and fine-tuning of existing databases supporting TriZetto applications. Will work with and mentor Software Engineers in the structuring of SQL statements and improving database performance. Requires a broad background in database design, software development and ETL processes. Strong Oracle experience a must.

Sr. Database Engineer Gets It Done by:

- Participating in all aspects of the software development process including application design, coding, testing, and deployment.
- Designing Oracle and SQL Server databases making use of clusters, RAID, replication, or other technologies.
- Writing stored procedures for applications, and modify applications written in Java to use stored procedures.
- Optimizing application databases for large data files.
- Assisting software engineers with the maintenance and improvement of the Company's technology.

Sr. Database Engineer is able to Get It Done because he or she has the following qualifications:

- Oracle, MS SQL Server
- 5+ years in database design/software development/database administration
- Expert knowledge in database design, performance tuning and capacity planning
- Experience in ETL processes and tools - specifically SSIS, OWB and ODI

Preferred Skills:

- Java and/or C#
