Currently we are looking for a Project Leader on the Soarian Team. You will direct IT initiatives for Patient Financial Services and other key Soarian users across the organization. This position involves tactical project planning, budgeting, customer expectations management, change management, and actual project execution oversight. Outstanding customer service and vendor management skills are required; ability to gain trust of the senior executive team is critical.

Additionally, this position will contribute and guide annual and long-term strategic planning. Key to this role will be strong relationship/communication skills - this individual must be able to communicate with all customer levels and create a motivational atmosphere for users, testers, vendors, and IT team members.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct evaluations of needs and develop recommendations/proposals based on quantifiable decision parameters (cost, timing, function, benefits and risk); minimize exposure and risk on projects.
- Analyze project profitability, revenue, margins, bill rates, and utilization.

- Author reports and detailed workplans, obtain approvals, and lead/facilitate collaborative efforts to define project scope, goals, and deliverables; determine milestones, timelines, and resource requirements

- Develop procedures, maintain CCHS project management methodology, and enforce project standards; set and manage customer expectations and define/enforce change management procedures.

- Track deliverables, manage daily processes and vendor activity, monitor progress, and develop strategies to address/mitigate areas of concern.

- Prepare and deliver formal progress reports on routine basis to senior management and stakeholders; recommend specific actions to overcome real and potential issues.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
- Hospital or Healthcare experience

- Knowledge of health informatics, hospital and patient accounting, inventory control, patient management and laboratory procedures is highly desirable

- Background in Soarian (either clinical or financial packages) or any one of the following: AllScripts, Eclipsys, Cerner, Meditech, McKesson, EPIC, and GE Centricity.

- Bachelor degree or knowledge equivalent to a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, or Business Administration. Graduate work in Business Administration is desirable.
