The initial Testing Lead project is the ICD10 Program, a high profile, critical transformative initiative that is impacting Healthcare on a global scale. At Christiana Care, this project will allow more than 150,000 different codes for medical diagnosis, both inpatient and ambulatory, and inpatient procedures. The end goal is to improve the quality and quantity of data and enhance measurement of results and outcomes, public health, research, monitoring, and reimbursement.

The Testing Lead will provide consultation at the highest technical level to project teams and client areas assisting with the successful development and implementation of effective systems and applications across multiple computing environments (eg, host based, distributed systems, client server). This position consults with internal customers, IT management and staff, vendors, and the PMO throughout the project life cycle to ensure critical changes and updates to all user systems are completed. Additionally, the Lead assists/guides/manages the design, development and implementation of projects and provides guidance for/creates standard test environments, tests plans, and test scripts; collaborates with PMO, IT team, and customers to maintain a consistent test methodology.

Responsibilities:

- Leads a team of testing analysts and business users and prepares/conducts acceptance testing of new or modified applications/systems

- Analyzes and designs new or modified Quality Assurance (QA) procedures and standards, and assists/leads the development and implementation of QA metrics for assessing quality

- Prepares, maintains, and executes Testing Strategy, Test Plan, and Test Script documents

- Drives testing issues to closure and effectively mitigates risks, manages communications, and identifies quality issues/risks with recommendations/contingency plans

- Participate in the review of new QA software and consult with IT team members and customers in resolving questions during the testing process

REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ years related experience on integrated system project development teams

- Experience with enterprise systems necessary

- Experience with manual and automated testing and modeling tools, and a broad knowledge of business modeling, process engineering, change management and test case generation techniques

- Strong experience in SQL, PL/SQL, T-SQL, Oracle, Toad, and Microsoft tool suite (Excel, PPT, Project and Word), version control systems (Rational Clear Case, PVCS, Visual SourceSafe, etc.), project management tools (MS Project, Requisite Pro, etc.), testing management tools (Rational Clear Quest, Mercury Test Director, etc.)

- Experience with testing tools (Rational Enterprise Suite, Mercury Test Director, WinRunner, Load Runner, etc.)

- Experience with Healthcare systems a BIG plus

- Bachelor degree or knowledge equivalent to a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, or Business Administration.
