The Systems Analyst assists with/oversees systems analysis, design, development, and implementation services for Patient Financial Services (PFS) applications (Patient Registration, Scheduling, Revenue, Billing, Claims); performs software configuration as necessary. These applications tend to be large software programs. This Analyst partners with business owners and users to assess working processes, discover operating problems and areas for improvement, and evaluate/identify/recommend IT technology solutions and alternatives. This includes ongoing analysis and research into best business/clinical processes regarding department needs, and assistance in adopting best practices. Support includes 24X7 oncall rotation.
This role is customer-facing; personal communication and interaction skills are key. The Analyst documents business policies and procedures, requirements, and current and future state process flows and translates future business processes into test scripts. Acts as an internal consultant to management in disciplines and processes such as scheduling, patient access, master patient index, revenue cycle, billing, claims processing, and reporting.
Experience in Healthcare with Patient Registration, Billing, Claims, Revenue, and Scheduling, etc. is preferred, but we will consider any candidate with excellent interpersonal skills who has supported any large, 3rd party system in a similar role at any large corporation.

Requirements:
- Several years of large, complex 3rd party application support
- Preferred background in Healthcare Patient Registration, Pre-Registration, Scheduling, Billing, Claims, Revenue, or Revenue Reporting
- Experience with supporting business owners and identifying/supporting operations process flows
- Prior experience developing reports and/or extracts using SQL tools is a plus
- Prior knowledge of Soarian Financials, Soarian Scheduling, and/or ePREMIS is a plus
