Position Description:

The Claims Support Business Analyst will review and analyze the business needs and report problems and enhancements to the Vendor's technical team. This position will be responsible for analyzing, creating and running system reports using both iBiz and Pervasive reporting tools. Responsibilities will also include loading electronic eligibility files and plan building. Must be able to participate in the analysis, development, design, implementation and support of the claims processing system.

Immediate Performance Objectives

10% - Identify, document and report claims system problems and enhancements, learn the products on LuminX and how to process claims in the LuminX Test system.
50% - Load electronic eligibility files, build dental, medical and life plans, develop and run system reports using iBiz and Pervasive reporting tools.
20% - Analyze data and system functionality, identify system improvements and generate reports.
10% - Conduct systems testing and participate in monthly system implementations.
10% - Perform other required duties as assigned by management.

Position Requirements
College degree or equivalent business experience.
Three plus years of Group Insurance experience.
Three to Four years of systems analysis or testing
Prior experience working on projects.
Good working knowledge of computers, database software, including Visual Basic and Oracle, as well as one or more programming languages.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Access.
