The Global Process Director is accountable for global Change and Release Management, Integrated Service Management (ISM) platform and the associated tools. Supporting detail for each of the position functions: Global processes in scope are Request Management Reporting and Knowledge Management. This position will direct a team of global process owners responsible for each process. IT Service Management (ITSM) platform scope include the IRIS tool (service-now.com) from development to operational support of the IRIS platform.

This individual will provide leadership across all processes and the ISM platform. Directs global process owners ensuring process maturity is in-line with IT IS strategic direction. Oversees process compliance and training across IT IS. Directs ISM platform governance including tool (IRIS) support operations and prioritization of enhancements. Directs process escalations and necessary communications across IT, including to senior leadership. Breaks down any barriers across organizations inside and outside of IT IS. Ensures voice of customer and customer centric thinking is built into all processes. Partners with peers in the PLAN and BUILD organization to deliver end to end process excellence resulting in more robust infrastructure services.

Understands how their area of process expertise interrelates with other core I/T processes and redefines processes and/or influences I/T Colleagues to redefine processes, in order to ensure alignment. Exercises judgment and influence on key technical decisions (for example, standards and policies, technical solutions). Addresses organizational challenges by helping staff navigate the organization effectively and resolving diverse perspectives of multiple stakeholders. Brings knowledge and expertise in I/T processes and incorporates those ideas into I/T. Partners and integrates across other areas of I/T. Forms productive networks with internal and external business partners. Broad understanding of multiple technology towers such as server, network, and database. Maintains an awareness of processes used in the industry and by other leading organizations; uses this information to develop new strategies and recommendations for their area of process expertise. Strong teamwork and communication/information sharing skills. Good interpersonal and employee relations skills in managing global resources.

Qualifications

A minimum of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required. A minimum of 10+ years of broad IT infrastructure experience in a large global organization is required. Experience of managing Help Desk or IT infrastructure operation centers is preferred. Experience in leading and deploying ITSM capabilities in a global environment is required. Excellent influencing skills. Excellent vendor management/vendor relationship skills. Experience managing large global outsourced functions is required. Experience managing consistent processes across a variety of vendor partners. Experience managing organizational change management across a global organization. ITIL v3 Foundations certification is preferred. This position will be based in Raritan, NJ. A minimum of 15-20% travel is required.
