Johnson & Johnson Consumer Products is seeking an IT Manager, Consumer Finance. This position is located in Skillman, NJ.

The Business Unit IT Manager for Finance will have accountability for managing the support, design, build and deployment of Finance related solutions for the US Consumer Finance team.

The Business Unit IT Manager -will partner with Application Services and the Business Process Owners to support the Finance business solutions. The core responsibility for the successful applicant will be to manage the BUIT Finance team, provide business process guidance and automated solution to enable the Finance organization to meet their goals year after year. The incumbent will ensure adherence to J&J SAP global standards and ensure his/her team serves as the liaison between business partners and IT in the support & development of RICEF's (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements and Forms). SAP Systems/Applications under scope include among others, Mercury R2R, BW, Bravo, DaRT, Vertex, BIF, etc.

The BUIT Finance manager will have end to end responsibilities from support through project delivery for the designated systems/applications. In addition, the BUIT Finance Manager will work with BI team to ensure that all required reporting data and processing is completed, as required, in support of service level agreement for system processing windows. The BUIT Finance manager will also partner with the GFS team to collaborate and ensure the compliant and successful delivery of solutions.

The BUIT Finance Manager - will lead and inspire a local functional IT team of 2 leads, to drive accountability, operational excellence, business focus and IT responsiveness and flexibility to deliver dynamic and varied business environment for the Consumer US Finance team.

Responsibilities will include the following: Partnering with local leaders to represent IT to the rest of the business and ensure BUIT Finance locally as a whole is focused on Business needs. Partnering internally within IT (R2R, BW, Bravo, DaRT, Vertex, BIF, B2B etc) to represent the needs of the Consumer US Finance team and drive for business improvement through IT. Collaborating directly with the senior business leaders in Consumer US Finance to determine, agree and manage a roadmap for BUIT Finance, including systems and infrastructure, aligned with the long term business and IT needs and plans and delivers significant improvements to our business. Ensuring that BUIT Finance is compliant and accountable for all SOX, Quality and other regulatory expectations. Managing an expense budget to get the maximum value for our business and ensure reliable and sustained IT systems supporting our business. Championing the Credo - creates and sustain a credo-based culture. Building organizational capability and bench strength through sound organization and people development practices. Identify and cultivate high potential talent as a J&J-wide resource. Partnering with other senior IT colleagues in other J&J sectors to drive leverage and minimize the impact of IT. Promoting innovation and continuous learning by fostering an environment that encourages new thinking and creative ideas.

Other responsibilities will include the following: Manage external partner vendor resources to support projects, facilitate business process definition, assess issues, collect business requirements and validate business process design; Provide proactive and timely response to all support requests; Actively manage support and involvement of power users and key end users; Assist with the training of power users and end users on new or updated system functionality and provide refresher training as required.

Qualifications

A minimum of a Bachelor's degree and 7 years of IT or Business experience is required. Strong knowledge of SAP Financial process and BI is required. Experience with people management (preferably internal resources but will consider contractors) is required. Knowledge of Sarbanes Oxley and other regulatory policies, rules and procedures (SDLC) is required.

Sense of urgency in solving customer requests to ensure timely resolution and an ability to work effectively under pressure is required. Ability to process complex information and quickly identify innovative solutions that meet both the internal and business partner requirements is required. Level of comfort handling ambiguity and fluid situations, demonstrating a pragmatic approach is required. Experience working collaboratively to facilitate the delivery of support to numerous locations is required. Experience of successfully managing multiple priorities & projects through successful delivery & implementation is required. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact skillfully and confidently with internal stakeholders and colleagues to develop ideas, identify opportunities and influence outcomes are required. Ability to work in a team based environment as a model of customer service, teamwork and leadership is required. Ability to lead, mentor and delegate as appropriate by disseminating knowledge and techniques is required. Knowledge in compliance is preferred for this role.
