Johnson & Johnson Consumer Products is seeking an IT Manager, Digital Technologist. The position is based in Fort Washington PA (with weekly travel to Skillman, NJ required).

The Digital Technologist Manager is an expert in the digital ecosystem for digital brand marketing and digital product development. This position guides brand marketing and their partners in the use of digital technology. This role leads and owns the Digital Product Engineering (DPE) relationship with the Over the Counter (OTC) franchise representing the needs of these brands with all DPE, IT, vendors and other technology partners.

Technology expert in the Consumer digital ecosystem, influencing the business digital strategy with brand partners and digital business leads. Consult on digital technologies and clearly define "How" we will meet the business and consumers needs and expectations. Take overall ownership of the delivery of solutions for the business. Represent the brand teams with all internal and external partners and ensure projects and initiatives are delivered to time, budget and at the level of quality needed. Partner with Digital Center of Excellence (DCOE) and Digital Strategists to support/execute digital brand initiatives. Lead the technical discovery process on potential projects. Accurately scope, define and translate functional requirements into technical specification. Drive brands ongoing work, participates in technical discussions with agencies, ensure brand teams are given the expected response to support tickets and educate brands and product management teams on tools to enable self-serve. Define and agree key business success metrics for all initiatives. Educate brand teams and partners on J&J digital ecosystem, standards and guidelines. Guide brand team, DCOE and agency partners to ensure appropriate utilization, leverage and investment in our J&J platforms. Maximize brand budgets through leverage of previous investments. Drive strategy and decision making to identify the best delivery path for brand teams needs (internal vs. external). Ensure all initiatives are delivered with the appropriate level of compliance built in upfront. Lead and inspire teams by communicating a vision, defining clear goals and involving the right people at the optimal levels for project success. Lead meetings with senior members of the digital product management and digital brand marketing teams, ensure they meet the stated objectives and have clear actionable outcomes. Ensure all deliverables are of the highest quality. Work in an independent fashion, with strong problem solving skills and the ability to learn new digital technologies quickly. Make decisions, and communicate effectively in difficult situations. Be passionate about delivering the best product, but find ways of producing it that do not jeopardize schedule and budget. Provide leadership and direction for direct report(s). Take accountability for deliverables with your franchise and develop the expertise they need to fulfil the businesses digital technology needs. Manage delivery budgets for team and franchise responsibilities.

Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree is required, preferably in Computer Science or related field. PMI/PMP training is required, certification is preferred. A minimum of 8 years of related experience working as a digital technologist or digital business relationship manager helping digital marketing and product development is required. A minimum of 3 years of experience in working with agencies and digital partners to deliver extraordinary results for your brand teams is required. Demonstrated experience running large engagements with Fortune 500 clients or equivalent experience and proven track record of working across multiple brands and partners simultaneously is required. Experience working in a compliance based environment is required. Excellent presentation and communication skills with proven ability to develop presentations and speak to large audiences, including senior level personnel, is required. Experience scoping large engagements, both creating and leading teams in the creation of clear technical specifications and deliverables is required. Management of large, complex projects that met with business requirements and were on schedule and budget is required. A proven track record of managing constrained resources across a portfolio of digital work is required.

Familiarity with various types of digital projects and associated interdependencies, including: web sites, mobile, social media, online advertising, campaigns, kiosks, signage, brand, and consulting is required. Experience with various digital/web/mobile technologies including analytics and dashboards, SEO/SEM, CMS (content management systems), campaign management, service integration, marketing database is required. Strong experience with SDLC methodology and quality assurance processes is required. Experience managing clients (external or internal) and partners on project scope and delivery is required. Familiarity with web development technologies is required.

The following skills are also required: Strong problem solving skills; being responsive and flexible to evolving responsibilities and changing environments. Excellent attention to detail, a desire to learn and master new technologies and stay current on digital trends and advances in the industry. Ability to organize and schedule work effectively. Ability to lead a team, be a team player and partner in a cross team environment with DPE team, other IT partners, Digital COE and brand partners. Customer service-skills and the ability to define and deliver strategy as well as be involved in the details of execution. Ability to work flexible hours, including hours beyond the normal schedule when necessary. Ability to travel multiple times per week to Skillman, New Jersey is required.

Prior experience working for a digital agency is preferred. Knowledge of GXP is preferred. Experience in a process driven environment following sound SDLC processes is preferred. Prior experience in online marketing and/or advertising as well as user experience design is preferred. Understanding of issues covering site architecture, user-interface and navigation is preferred.
