Veridex, L.L.C., a member of Johnson & Johnson's Family of Companies, is recruiting for a Market Development Manager. This position is based out of Philadelphia PA, and covers the PA, OH, MI, DC, MD and Ontario Canada territory.

The Market Development Manager represents Veridex, LLC in an account selling capacity across the PA, OH, MI, DC, MD and Ontario Canada territory. More specifically, this position will have a primary focus on identifying strategic instrument account placements while effectively driving CellSearch reagent growth within our existing accounts primarily across major academic facilities. This objective will include selling Research Use Only (RUO) reagents as well as CTC clinical research lab services in the academic research setting. Cultivating Key Opinion Leaders(KOL) development in order to drive business results through regional and national reference labs while effectively partnering with our National Account Managers (NAMs) in order to execute new strategic market access and reimbursement initiatives at a local, regional, and national level.
A strong understanding of the oncology business market, capital equipment and device selling is strongly preferred. The position requires the ability to build strong business relationships across various levels (ie physicians/medical directors/lab directors/medical administration) and to develop and execute strategic plans that result in business growth exceeding the Veridex business plan. Fiscal responsibility with discretionary expenses (travel, customer entertainment, sponsorships, etc.) and its impact on the organization's business plan is expected so that it concludes at less than 100% of expense budget.
Qualifications
BS/BA or equivalent is required. At least three to five years of medical sales experience is required, with oncology, capital equipment, and laboratory diagnostics and or specialty selling experience being strongly preferred. Candidates must have experience and documented success selling within complex clinical environments.
