As an Incident Handler, you will be responsible for investigating all Information Security Incidents across the GE Capital enterprise, providing technical response and investigation capabilities, and for developing and improving the businesses response capabilities. This is a hands-on role requiring deep technical skills as well as the ability to co-ordinate and lead remote teams. This role will work closely with GE Corporate and cross business CIRT teams. Essential Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for managing compliance for multiple applications.
  • Performs application security assessments, quarterly user access reviews, and backup and recovery initiatives.
  • Offers third-party support and quarterly data center access reviews for those applications.
  • Establishes IT security policies and procedures and measure compliance.
  • Acts as primary support contact for one or more clients.
  • Performs PC forensic investigations taking the lead as on the security team.
  • Provide constant communication to keep the executive management and operational teams informed of any and all issues.
  • Define and manage overall IT security plan for business. Qualifications/Requirements: Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree (or 4 years equivalent working experience) with 5+ years of IT experience

  • Experience of advanced forensic tools and techniques for attack reconstruction, including dead system analysis and volatile data collection and analysis.
  • Computer Forensics experience and/or certification
  • Penetration testing experience
  • Skilled in the reverse engineering of malware
  • Previous experience working as part of an IT Security team within a financial services company.
  • Strong written skills required for preparation of documentation, deliverables, proposals, and reports.
