Work with ETL/DA architects in designing/enhancing ETL architecture. Perform hands on development and mappings using Informatica. Responsibilities include full lifecycle project management, solution design, and overall ETL design and development.

Analyze business needs and information requirements, define optimum system requirements to meet business needs, and prioritize and manage new requirements.
Develops detailed analysis, design, construction and testing specifications ensuring technical compatibility and integration.
Conducts business analysis, event modeling, logical and physical database design, database optimization, load strategy design and implementation, security and change management.
Assists the systems development process, including planning and monitoring development efforts, reviewing deliverables, and communications to management.
Ensures users' effective, accurate and easy access to data; translate user information requirements into data.
Verifies decision support program specifications with users for reliability, accuracy and functionality.Lead Data Warehouse projects, plan and monitor development efforts:
Execute hands on Informatica Mapping and Development.
Coordinate SDLC activities to meet business requirements for integrated data.
Assess requirements for completeness and accuracy and determine if requirements are actionable for ETL Developers. Work with requirement providers to close issues and gaps.
Coordinate all aspects of the project with other teams, such as BI Reporting, Quality Assurance, Support, Infrastructure as well as business owners and management.
Perform impact assessment and scope the size of the effort based on the requirements.
Execute project plans to implement the ETL solutions.
Develop the solution and ensure that it fits into the overall ETL/Informatica architecture at GE Treasury.
Help shape the overall ETL/Informatica architecture. Identify, recommend and implement process and architecture improvements.
Assist with and validate the design of the solution and the production of all design/build phase deliverables.
Execute the build phase and quality assure (peer review) the code to ensure that it meets the requirements and adheres to the ETL architecture standards and best practices.
Mentor junior team members on Informatica and ETL best practices.
Resolve difficult design and build issues, troubleshoot bugs when developers are not able to do so.
Coordinate with the Quality Assurance team to plan and execute QA testing and resolve any defects.
Coordinate with deployment and support resources to ensure the solutions gets implemented smoothly into QA and Production environments.
Take an active role in joint solution design and be an advocate for long term quality in the process.
Lead/conduct source system analysis and data integration design.
Lead end to end data acquisition matching business requirements.
Write SQL to explore source data, data issues, etc.
Identify impact on existing model/solution triggered by new/changed requirements.
Work closely with business analysts, end users, developers and QA team to ensure technical compatibility. Qualifications/Requirements: Bachelor's Degree with 2+ years of IT experience.
