Description
The job holder is responsible for leading a team of Business Analysis Consultants to analyze, define, challenge and prioritize the business requirements, functional specifications and operational architecture for a functional work stream within a highly complex strategic, global program. S/He formulates and defines program scope and objectives for the work stream across all business, operations, and technology stakeholders by thoroughly understanding business processes in a specific business domain. S/He has hands-on expertise and business domain knowledge in the sophisticated, global capital markets industry; including securities processing, custody, alternative investments (hedge funds/derivatives), clearance, accounting, cash processing, reporting and/or brokerage areas. S/He can lead the business analysis and testing functions for a team within an overall large-scale mission-critical program. S/He leads coordination and consensus building across multiple global internal and often external business and technology groups, and leads initial strategy/planning and scope definition through to process design, requirements development, testing, training and implementing of the solution for their functional area assigned. S/He demonstrates a deep understanding of end-to-end operation flows across multiple applications, extensive experience with Software Development Life Cycle processes and techniques and a deep understanding of application architecture for his/her domain area(s) of expertise.

Qualifications
Minimum 8-12 years of related experience required. Must hold a BS degree in a business or technical-related field, and a Master's degree is preferred. Job holder must have extensive experience with best-in-class methods, tools and techniques for elicitation and documentation of internal and external client needs and associated requirements. This includes use case modelling, business process modelling, and formal requirements traceability techniques using tools such as RequisitePro. S/He must be able to lead the analysis of client requirements, manage project progress, manage issues and risks, identify potential roadblocks and be accountable for keeping projects on track. S/He must possess superior communication and presentation skills with expertise in formal requirements elicitation techniques, including large-scale and formal workshop facilitation with senior stakeholders. As well, the job holder must utilize his/her industry domain expertise to challenge and prioritize the business and client requirements and influence decision making and drive consensus to allow for solution optimization, speeding time-to-market and phasing of these multi-year complex initiatives. In addition to the functions above, this individual is an expert in testing with extensive experience in functional and UAT test planning, test case development and execution.
