Position Description:

Build and lead the global operations centralized reporting team. This position will be responsible for transitioning all standard reporting out of the local departments into the central reporting team with the goal of data quality, consistency, and promoting efficiency.

Additionally, the position will need to develop a process for handling ad hoc report requests and providing simple analysis with requests.

This role will be responsible for building up the staffing, monitoring the team's bandwidth, and mentoring members to develop within the new team.

Finally, it is expected this position will work with the corporate data team with regards to data dictionary, governance, and where applicable, technology.

Position Requirements
-Three to five years experience in systems and data analysis/report development preferably in the insurance/claims, financial services industry.
-Knowledge of database protocols and writing/developing data driven reports.
- Knowledge of data warehousing and data management practices.
- Knowledge of Cognos 8 and MS Office Applications.
-Must be a self-starter with project management skills to build the team, determine responsibilities, and achieve goals within the given time period.
- Must have excellent communication (written, verbal and listening), organizational and follow-up skills and the ability to take initiative.
- Must have the good interpersonal skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group including executives, peers and subject matter experts.
-Must have an executive presence to be able to interact and present with top level management.
