Control Operations Manager - Leading Investment Bank

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Control Operations Manager to join a Leading Investment Bank.

Responsibilities

• Assist with design and maintenance of control framework
• Ensure control failures and any related incidents are fully examined, actions to remediate are appropriate and completed on a timely basis
• Ensure issues are appropriately escalated to senior management and other groups, as required
• Prepare, analyze  and verify reports using accepted auditing procedures to assess control compliance
• Provide quality oversight and assurance of control procedures
• Examine and evaluate applications, recommending controls to ensure system reliability and data integrity

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in a technical discipline and at least five years of technical work experience
• Ability to excel in Agile, test driven, rapid release software development environment which relies on iterative feedback
• Interest in financial services industry (capital markets, market indices and various securities)
• Experience with computer science data structures preferred but not necessary
• Organized and proactive candidate with an understanding of control gates and risk mitigation
