Enterprise Mobility Architect (Android/iOS)

Yoh has a direct hire opportunity for an Enterprise Mobility Architect to join our client in New York, NY.

Job Overview:

The Enterprise Mobility Architect will take a lead role in creating an overall mobile application technology roadmap and mobile application architecture in regards to delivering our new and innovative tablet-based product. This job will entail leading the identification of new technologies and best practices in the development of mobile applications.

Job Responsibilities:

- Develops technology strategy for mobile application development.
- Collaborate with product managers to translate product requirements into system level architecture and high-level designs that can be used across multiple solutions.
- Facilitate organizational change and drive towards an industry leading mobility strategy.
- Research, identify and evaluate appropriate technologies required to meet product development goals.
- Collaborate with project teams to translate requirements to system level architecture designs that are scalable, extensible and cost-effective, meeting both functional and non-functional requirements, as well as able to be re-used across multiple applications and solutions.
- Develop and document detailed architecture for mobile solutions with focus on architectural standards, growth, performance, flexibility, reliability, scalability and security.
- Work individually and collectively with other architects to ensure breadth and granularity of strategies, standards and reference architectures are consistent and well integrated.
- Gathering, defining, and organizing business and functional requirements including acceptance criteria for use by developers to implement a capability.
- Creates architectural design blueprints and business cases to document business challenges, solution approaches, benefits, costs and risks.

Job Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Management or related field.
- Intermediate skills in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Project, Visio, Adobe Acrobat and Corporate Email System (ie Outlook, Lotus Notes, etc.).
- Minimum eight (8) years of progressive, multi-discipline software architecture experience; preferably within a professional services role or similar environment.
- Minimum eight (8) years of mobility architecture experience.
- Multi-device application development experience.
- Familiar with the mobile devices landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies.
- Highly passionate, self-motivated and driven individual who has a strong technical understanding across a broad range of technologies and solutions.
- Strong desire to improve existing solutions, to innovate and to improve the current way that IT and specifically solutions architecture is performed.

Preferred Job Skills/Experience/Knowledge:

- Master's in Computer Science, Information Management or related field.
- Knowledge of healthcare.
