You will be a Developer in the core technology team, working with the Global Fixed Income group. The team sits on the trading floor so you will be surrounded by traders and technologists. This role involves analysis, design, coding and testing of various Front Office systems - primarily those that deal with instrument, position and market data.
Mandatory Qualifications:
-Developer with 0-4 years of professional experience.
-The candidate must have solid communication skills, be a self starter, and be comfortable working in a team environment.
-Technical education must include an undergraduate and/or advanced degree in computer science, electrical engineering or similar.
-Solid in core programming skills (eg data structures, class design, debugging, etc.).
-Experience developing in C++.
-Experience with Linux or Windows and knowledge of basic commands and Scripting.
-Natural enthusiasm for software development.
-Strong communication and teamwork skills.
-A strong desire and aptitude to learn and share your ideas and knowledge with colleagues. Be solution driven. Approach problems with a solution in mind.
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
-Relevant experience in the Financial Services is preferred but is not required.
-Python Scripting.
-Experience working with Fixed Income products.
-Knowledge of SQL and Sybase.
-Experience in data modelling and data design.
-Experience working in a trading floor environment.
