PURPOSE:
The Project Coordinator is responsible for the coordination of day to day construction and/or engineering activities toward installation, along with management of small scale projects within the East Network Operations & Engineering organization. Project Coordinator will partner with various stakeholders to understand scope of work and enlist key contributors to develop & implement project plans in the timeframe established by Senior Leadership.
This role will establish a specific accomplishment schedule and will conduct critical path assessments to identify, troubleshoot to resolution or escalate risks to maintaining overall timelines established. Resources involved may consist of internal and external contributors.
Responsibilities include task management amongst a variety of team members and accurately maintaining all project artifacts (including project schedules, action items lists, communication plans, documentation, and status updates).
Reporting to the Manager, Project Management Operations, this position will also support the Engineering Project Managers (PMs) in the day to day maintenance of project tasks and administration of larger scale complex project activities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Actively coordinates a rolling calendar to include all tasks of installs through construction and/or engineering to ensure all installation timelines and commitments are met
- Establishes and maintains positive partnership with construction and engineering teams
- Works with project team members as needed ensuring all tasks are coordinated effectively
- Actively manages small engineering projects through a formal project management process to ensure project goals, timelines and budgets are met
- Establishes, owns, and leads project communication forums for small engineering projects
- Actively follow ups on BAU installations project next steps/action items to insure activity is moving forward; driving deliverables
- Analyze project schedules and deliverables to insure schedules are met and troubleshoot potential project conflicts or issues as they arise
- Resolving conflicts and escalate concerns for guidance where warranted
- Owns issues, working toward resolution and escalating once all options have been exhausted
- Interact with Project Team and Project Sponsors to develop conflict resolution plans
- Assist with day-to-day large-scale project activities, such as issue tracking and risk mitigation, and preparing/delivering status reports
- Supports and maintains project documentation, SharePoint sites and site information.
- Coordinates large-scale project meetings, materials, related documentation and related communications including meeting notes.
- Provides cross-team coordination and communication on critical tasks, milestones and schedules
- Coordinates with and supports PMs in successfully using standard tools, templates, protocols and policies as required by the PMO, through maintenance of the project document repository and organization/version control of project documentation and artifacts.
- Create Reports & Views for Project Management Operations stakeholders
- Works under minimal supervision or in a team environment; achieves goals; asks for assistance when needed

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Possesses a broad knowledge of Sales, Construction, Engineering and Operations and uses this to balance the needs of all communities.
- Ability to multi-task fluidly between administrative responsibility and application of project management methodology.
- Proven decision making skills and ability to plan and execute small initiatives.
- Ability to successfully interact with members of immediate leadership.
- Interpersonal skills necessary to work in a professional, cooperative manner to successfully interact with and manage cross-functional teams including commercial sales engineering, service delivery, construction, engineering, operations, finance, etc.
- Excellent analytical, written and oral communications skills are required
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Bachelors Degree (BA) from a 4 year college or university; or equivalent training, education and/or experience.
- Project management background with a minimum of 3 years experience in a MSO or equivalent environment
- Strong organizational and coordination skills along with fundamental project management methodology application (preferably PMI).
- Working knowledge of Salesforce
- Formal training in project management methodology a plus (preferably PMI).
- 5+ years strong experience using MS Office tools and products (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Project, SharePoint and Visio)
