This role is responsible for pre sales engineering including supporting customers through technical product evaluations. The role has the advantage of being home based, travelling to customers in New York City as required.

The Role and Opportunity

This role will see you working with customers (typically software development teams), within the financial services sector, to understand their business and technical requirements, and deliver technical proof of concepts in a pre sales capacity.

This vendor develops a suite of products to enable software development teams to understand vulnerabilities in source code, which affect the integrity and security of software applications. The solution fits in as part of a wider framework of tools to support the process of automatically reducing defects in code prior to release.

The company are growing rapidly throughout the U/S and are looking to bring on board an additional sales engineer. There is an existing team in place, and you will be supported by a local sales engineering manager who will be responsible for your on-boarding and on going career development.

About You

To be successful, it is essential that you come from a software development background (C, C++, C# or Java). Although you must have a development background, you will have moved into a pre sales engineering position, or you will have realised that you would like to move your career towards a customer-facing role.
