Senior Mobile Application DeveloperOverviewSeeking talented and experienced Mobile developer to join our mobile development group working on our Blackberry 10 product. You will help build out our flagship mobile apps for financial professionals. The ideal candidate will be comfortable in a fast-paced development environment within a global corporate environment and will bring and an energetic, fun, and creative approach to their work. The ideal candidate has a background in mobile application design and development with a strong background in C++ application design.Responsibilities
- As a Senior Software Developer on the BlackBerry Phone Application team, you will be responsible for developing the next-generation features and user interfaces for the Eikon Mobile Financial application on the brand new BlackBerry10 platform.
- You will use your vast experience in Object Oriented design as well as C++/Qt development expertise to help architect and build the Phone related features for the BlackBerry10 platform.
- Your focus will be application and UI development where appearance, performance and quality are key factors.
- Work actively with product managers to understand and better define application requirements.
- Contribute to the overall design and architecture of the mobile platform.
- Use past experience, best practices, metrics and emerging trends to produce superior and evolving mobile products and user experience

Qualifications

Preferred Skills
- Hands on experience developing enterprise grade mobile applications
- Expert level development background in C++
- Web Services and JSON experience a plus
- Strong bias for action; ability to juggle multiple priorities and create a sense of urgency in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Knowledge of cutting-edge mobile technologies
- Familiarity/experience with Agile software methodologies
