Project:
Thomson Reuters is seeking highly motivated senior developers to contribute to a Server Side analytics platform. The platform delivers Fixed Income analytics expanding to derivates and foreign exchange. Focus is on distributed computing, caching, scalability, throughput and performance. System is currently deployed globally growing to accommodate increasing customer base.
Position:
Hands on developer with a passion for producing high quality high performance code. Ideal candidate would be interested in expanding knowledge of financial instruments. Culture is of collaboration and pay for performance. Candidate should be motivated and self directed
Responsibilities
- The primary responsibility will be designing and implementing high performance C# components in a multithreaded server environment.
- Focus is on developing High performance web service components, SOA APIs, data drivers, distributed computing algorithms and caching solutions.
- In addition, the candidate will be communicating with internal and external development teams which both depend on and upon which the system depends assuring coordinated development of new features.
- The candidate will participate fully in the Agile process followed by the team including automated unit testing, work breakdown, and estimation.
- Candidate should be organized, articulate and able to present technical ideas.
The work breakdown will be likely 80% design and development, 20% support (working hours).

- C#.NET - 4 years
- Multithreading - 3 years
- Agile development - 1 years
- Windows Server 2008 - 2 years
- C++, Windows SDK - 2 years
Education
B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience
