Responsibilities:
-Use development skills to design and build applications to automate various aspects of IT infrastructure management.
-Upcoming projects may include cloud computing, equipment capacity planning, provisioning and life cycle management, user access control, and provisioning of distributed and parallel file systems.
Qualifications:
-At minimum, a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical discipline.
-Three or more years of relevant experience.
-Experience developing in Ruby on Rails or a similar web development framework.
-Familiarity building and using RESTful JSON-based web services is a plus, as is experience building web UIs with HTML, CSS, Javascript, jQuery and CoffeeScript.
-Additional useful skills include knowledge of data serialization formats like JSON and Protocol Buffers, familiarity with relational database concepts and SQL, and experience with authentication and encryption technologies like SSL, Kerberos, and GSSAPI.
