Supply Chain Engineering Project Manager, Warehouse Technology

General Summary

The SC Engineering Warehouse Technology Project Manager is responsible for managing the engineering, construction, and start up on warehouse automation projects. This person will also be responsible for the capital budget and schedule of these projects.

Accountabilities

1) Lead engineering teams to design, construct, install and start up automated warehouse technology projects.

2) Manage safety programs for construction and startup activities

3) Participate in P&ID and Description of Operations detailed reviews andhelp tofinalize documents.

4) Support equipment system computer simulations

5) Support FAT/Equipment Inspection prior to shipping equipment components

6) Participate indevelopment of CQV Criteria and support execution of Commissioning Plan as well as drive commission and qualification of the equipment systems.

7) Enforcement of standards and technology turn-over to operations.

Key Skills/Experience Required

1) Must be able to travel up to 70% to support projects as assigned.

2) Bachelor's Degree preferred in related field: mechanical, electrical, packaging.

3) Strong project management skills and the ability to lead multiple projects and teams simultaneously.

4) 5 years ofexperience with material handling and/or packaging equipment including line installations and startup.
