CGI is seeking to hire a a Testing Analyst in the Albany area as follows:

This individual will assist in the use of various testing tools/methodologies to ensure the logic supporting the development efforts meet specified performance outcomes/metrics.

The following activities are indicative of the assignments/outcomes expected of this individual:
- Developing appropriate system documentation,
- Support/participate in product test activities.
- Assist in the use of semi-automated/automated testing tools to ensure the logic supporting the development efforts meet specified performance outcomes/metrics
- Perform technical activities related to writing test plans, test scripts and automated test modules that will exercise WCF and WPF components

Individual will be required to work on-site during normal business hours (Monday through Friday, 8 hours per day). The preferred work schedule is 8:00am to 5:00pm which includes a lunch break. Occasional overtime may be necessary based on software development and deployment schedules.

Bachelor's degree in an Information Technology related fielld

Required

Skills:

Forty eight (48) months experience in writing test plans
Forty eight (48) months experience in writing use cases or scripts.
Forty eight (48) months experience in managing defect tracking; validating and reporting out results
Forty eight (48) months experience using various automated or semi-automated testing tools including creating automated test scripts for functional testing.
Forty eight (48) months experience using automated test management products; tracking requirements, error identification, resolution and scripts
Twenty four (24) months experience using HP Quality Center or a similar product
Twenty four (24) months experience accessing Oracle databases using SQL Developer, TOAD or a similar product
Eighteen (18) months experience using Microsoft Test Manager
