Loan IQ - Senior Business Analyst

Large Financial Firm seeks multiple Senior Business Analysts for their DE and NY, NY locations.

As a Senior Business Analyst, you will help provide quality technology solutions that address line of business needs by developing and documenting business requirements in the Loan Agency and Trading teams.

Specifically the role requires you to:

• Perform detailed requirements analysis required for a series of initiatives surrounding the Loans SRP (Strategic Reengineering Program), including initiatives to consolidate the separate Loan IQ instances, and to rollout Loan IQ to a number of new markets globally.  Analysis will initially focus on the documentation and agreement of a Target Operating Model (process flows), followed by reference data set up, and the creation of new interfaces to support new markets, including GL, Credit Risk, Money Transfer, and Reg Reporting.
• Regularly interacting with Operations users and Technology partners located around the word, including New York, Delaware, Chicago, Houston, London, and India.
• Documenting detailed business requirements, process flows and other documents as necessary
• Provide status reports and written feedback on progress made.
• Work within a team environment where tasks are divvied up on an as-needed basis
• Must have a strong background in Loan Syndications and Traded Loans from both a systems and operational perspective
• Must have 5-7 years of relevant experience in the loan agency/loan trading space.
• Must have strong knowledge of the Loan IQ vendor loan agency and trading platform
• Working ability to create SQL queries
• Strong written and oral communications skills
• Familiarity with Traditional Credit Products, including Letters of Credit

Desired Skills:

• Working knowledge in Loan syndications and traded loans from both a systems and operational perspective
• General knowledge of other Fixed Income financial products (Trade Financing knowledge preferred)
• Familiarity with other loan processing systems such as ACBS and AFS

Necessary Technology or Application Experience:

• Strong Loan IQ systems knowledge
• Strong SQL skills
• Java a plus
