    Role Summary/Purpose

    Senior professional level employee who will provide leadership and technical expertise to a team of professionals supporting the BI applications. As a leader for the team, the employee will own the overall responsibility for the efficiency and health of the BI Tools and related infrastructure. He/she will ensure that SLA's are consistently met and the environment is highly scalable for enterprise reporting.

    Essential Responsibilities: Essential Functions/Responsibilities

  • Manages a large team of employee and contractors to ensure operational excellence and successful delivery of all RTS activities
  • Provides leadership and technical guidance in the BI Tools space, and recommends best practices for a high performance BI environment
  • Ensures timely maintenance and hardware/software upgrades for all the BI tools and maintains high availability for all reporting environments
  • Works with the team to manage and prioritize enhancement and maintenance requests
  • Establishes relationship with key stakeholders and maintains a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Partners with colleagues and vendors through identifying and implementing process improvements
  • Enforces adherence to processes and mentors team members to grow into new roles and responsibilities
  • Designs and implements metrics to identify process improvement opportunities
  • Maintains compliance and regulatory documentation; participate in software audits, DR planning and testing
  • Qualifications/Requirements: Qualification/Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree with 7+ years of experience in IT
  • 5+ years of experience in one or more reporting tools (Business Objects, OBIEE, Qlikview, Spotfire, SAS etc.)
  • 5+ years of experience in database technologies (Oracle, Teradata etc.)
  • 5+ years of experience in operational support and maintenance of a large complex data management and Business Intelligence environment
  • 3+ years' experience in managing third parties to deliver technology solutions and applications
  • 3+ years' experience with team and project management experience

    Other/Special Compliance Requirements:

  • Section 19 Eligible
  • Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the United States
  • Must be willing to submit to a drug test, and background investigation as a part of the screening process
  • Willing to travel up to 10% of the time
