Works with functional owners and project teams to translate and prioritize requirements for Structured Lending Underwriting' project and maintenance work. Responsible for translating business requirements into functional specifications and managing changes to existing specifications. Determines which business requirements will be automated and how they are integrated with other business and technical processes. Maintain peer relationships across IT to support effective implementations. Essential Responsibilities:
- Designs, implements and maintains the application-specific blueprints, life-cycle plans, and roadmaps.
- Defines detailed functional and technical specifications required to satisfy business requirements for programs, projects, and releases.
- Communicates design, functional, and technical specifications to development team. Provides solution planning and estimating of programs and projects.
- Completes tasks, reporting status and work assignments in a timely fashion.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key business subject matter experts.
- Perform data analysis in support of ad-hoc needs and business projects, including working with application teams to determine best options/solutions. Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree (or 4 years equivalent work experience) with 2+ years IT experience
- Ability to perform analysis using a variety of tools (Excel, Business Objects, Oracle SQL, etc.) and communicate results effectively (PowerPoint, Excel, verbally, etc.) to business and project stakeholders (technical and non-technical audiences)
- Strong knowledge of relational database concepts including normalization and data profiling; and the ability to write Oracle SQL and understand entity relationship diagrams
- Extremely detail oriented with the ability to produce meticulous documentation
- Ability to work effectively across multiple projects and ad-hoc needs
- Must be willing to work Full time out of the GE Office in Chicago, IL or Norwalk, CT
