Duties and Responsibilities:
Administer a Windows 2003 and 2008 Directory Services infrastructure including installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Active Directory and DNS for Active Directory as well as change and configuration management. Provide support for server tuning including monitoring, troubleshooting and optimizing performance.
Perform periodic maintenance and upgrades (OS, drivers, firmware).
Create documentation for Operating Procedures and Change Management.
Work on Remedy trouble tickets as they are received in the group queue. Keep tickets updated and close them in a timely manner.
Follow all processes and procedures as directed by the AF and ENSA contract.


Required Qualifications:
Bachelor degree, or equivalent, and at least 2 years of related experience
(high school diploma and 3 years directly related experience could be BS equivalent)

CompTIA Security+ certification (mandatory within 3-months of hire)

Demonstrate a high degree of technical competence in technologies like the following;
Windows server 2003/2008
Microsoft Active Directory 2003/2008

Experience supporting complex directory services environments

Expert knowledge of Active Directory Group Policy creation

Sound knowledge of networking protocols and components, including TCP/IP, DNS, IPSEC

Ability to travel, if required

Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government background investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. The clearance level required is dependent on the type of clearance supported by our client: Secret

Desired Qualifications:

Experience with VMware administration
Scripting Skills, and use of Microsoft Windows PowerShell
