PHP/MySQL Developer/Administrator in Cleveland, Ohio (05/08)

Beacon Hill Technologies is working with a local Client to staff a Web Developer well-versed in PHP and MySQL experience. This position is a 6-month, Contract-to-Hire position, and is located in Brooklyn. Client will consider candidates with 1-3 years of experience.  Candidates must provide an online portfolio or samples of work upon submission of resumes.

Web Developer/Server Administrator

Description:

Established and growing agency seeks a passionate entry level web programmer.  Job functions include, but are not limited to: resolving any day-to-day issues, setting up new features and functionality within the call center platform, supporting and maintaining connections to other systems, building/troubleshooting/documenting dialer and data configurations, creating and running reports as needed, and collaborating on projects as they relate to the call center platform.

Requirements:

• Knowledge and understanding of PHP programming and MySQL databases
• Knowledge and understanding of Unix and open source solutions
• Hungry and passionate desire to learn on the job
• Effective communication skills with other departments, clients, and vendors
• Knowledge of data manipulation software including spreadsheets, and other common data transfer formats
• Bachelors in Computer Science or similar with experience with PHP
• SQL/MySQL experience

Preferred:

• Unix experience
• SIP/Asterisk experience
• Call center industry experience
