Job Description: Training Specialist Senior/Lead
Position Summary:
-Formulate and execute software training programs and develop training products for each operational software release.
-Assess training requirements, identify and evaluate training alternatives, and develop training materials to include a variety of training approaches: traditional classroom, programmed learning, hands-on, simulation, video, audio, and computer based training.
-Manage and supervise a team of trainers that travel throughout CONUS and OCONUS providing training.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
-Coordinate Training Schedules with the Training and Integrated Product Team and organizations that require training.
-Ensure quality training delivery.
-Participate in Training Integrated Product Team
-Develop Training Packages for Operational Software Releases
-Prepare User and Technical Manuals
-Supervise a team of trainers that travel throughout the CONUS and OCONUS providing Type I and refresher Mobile Training Team (MTT) operator and system administrator training for each new release.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Competencies:
-5 years experience Experience with Developing Training Product Development (Computer Based Training, Operator Notes, Lesson Plans, User and Technical Manuals)
-5 years experience in a Leadership role Demonstrated Leadership Experience
-Excellent understanding of Close Air Support
Desired Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Competencies:
-Previous experience in OIF/OEF as a JTAC, ROMAD, ALO, FDO or FDT.
-Knowledge/Experience with TACP CASS
